I’m excited to announce that Calligraphy Arts will once again be exhibiting at the UK Pen Show — and this year I’m bringing something new!
Alongside my full range of calligraphy supplies — including Coliro Pearlcolors, Bortoletti glass and feather dip pens, premium papers, and wax sealing accessories — I’ll be running quick, hands-on taster workshops right from the stall.
Mini Modern Calligraphy Workshop
Perfect for complete beginners
Discover the joy of modern calligraphy in a relaxed, friendly session. In just a few minutes, I’ll guide you through basic strokes and letter shapes using a dip pen and metallic ink. You’ll create your own name tag or small decorative piece to take home.

Wax Seal Stamping Mini Workshop
Create a beautiful wax seal to take home
Learn how to melt wax, use a wax stamp, and finish your seal with a metallic highlight. I’ll show you simple techniques that give stunning results — ideal for envelopes, gift tags, wedding stationery or journaling.
What you’ll learn:
- Best way to melt sealing wax safely
- How to press the stamp to get a crisp impression
- Optional finishing touches using metallic wax cream
All materials are provided — just drop in and have a go.

2026 will be the first time this event will be held. It is a merging of the South West Pen Show and the Birmingham Pen Show.
Cheltenham is right in the middle of the two previous shows. The Racecourse is superbly situated for visitors by road, the parking is great and free. The train is available with a regular bus directly to the Racecourse. Cheltenham is a beautiful town with many Hotels and places to eat and with many other things to do.
We will have 80 vendors selling everything related to Pens, Writing Instruments and Stationery.
The show opens at 10:00am and closes at 5:00pm on the Saturday
Admission online and at the door is £7.00 children under 13 are free entry when accompanied by an adult.
You can also buy early entry tickets that allow entry at 9am for £12.
