I’m excited to announce that Calligraphy Arts will once again be exhibiting at the UK Pen Show — and this year I’m bringing something new!

Alongside my full range of calligraphy supplies — including Coliro Pearlcolors, Bortoletti glass and feather dip pens, premium papers, and wax sealing accessories — I’ll be running quick, hands-on taster workshops right from the stall.

Mini Modern Calligraphy Workshop

Perfect for complete beginners

Discover the joy of modern calligraphy in a relaxed, friendly session. In just a few minutes, I’ll guide you through basic strokes and letter shapes using a dip pen and metallic ink. You’ll create your own name tag or small decorative piece to take home.

• How to hold and angle a pointed pen
• Simple modern calligraphy strokes
• How to join letters and build beautiful words

No experience needed — just curiosity and enthusiasm!

Wax Seal Stamping Mini Workshop

Create a beautiful wax seal to take home

Learn how to melt wax, use a wax stamp, and finish your seal with a metallic highlight. I’ll show you simple techniques that give stunning results — ideal for envelopes, gift tags, wedding stationery or journaling.

What you’ll learn:

• Best way to melt sealing wax safely
• How to press the stamp to get a crisp impression
• Optional finishing touches using metallic wax cream

All materials are provided — just drop in and have a go.

Now a two-day show. The LONDON AUTUMN PEN SHOW (previously the London Writing Equipment Show) is the longest established show in the UK and perhaps the largest writing equipment show in Europe.

The show is the longest established pen show in the UK and perhaps the largest writing equipment show in Europe.

We will have over 100 of England’s top pen dealers, pen makers and accessory suppliers at the show. Get free advice and valuations from the experts. As well as lots of vintage pens and new pens from world famous brands ranging in price from £2.00 to many hundreds of pounds. Pens and stationery for every budget.

This year the show will move to a fantastic new Venue in West London. the advantages of the new venue are:

• 4 times larger than existing room allowing for 150 nicely spaced out tables
• All vendors in same room
• All on ground floor level
• Great lighting
• Nice hotel and bar
• Increased capacity to 150 tables
• Wider aisles for visitors to be less crammed in.
• Onsite parking
• Hammersmith location, near tube , closer to Paddington, on M4.
• No congestion or ozone charge.

For visitors arriving by car there is under-ground parking at the venue.

The show opens at 10:00am and closes at 4:00pm, admission at the door is £7.00 children under 13 are free entry when accompanied by an adult.
