Whether you’re a beginner or looking to expand your creative toolkit, this class is perfect for learning new skills while creating beautiful, handmade items.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClass Description\n\n\n\nThis class focuses on a unique project each week, blending calligraphy techniques with fun and artistic designs. Through live demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll gain confidence and hands-on experience to create stunning calligraphy projects by the end of the course.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n4-Week Schedule\n\n\n\nWeek 1: Creating a 3D Star Gift Tag\n\n\n\n\nIntroduction to the tools and materials.\n\n\n\nStep-by-step folding and assembling of a 3D star.\n\n\n\nAdding calligraphy details to personalize the tag.\n\n\n\n\nWeek 2: Designing a Greeting Card with Metallic Paint\n\n\n\n\nTips for working with metallic paints on black card.\n\n\n\nSimple layouts for striking designs.\n\n\n\nCombining calligraphy and creative painting techniques for a professional finish.\n\n\n\n\nWeek 3: Learning Faux Calligraphy\n\n\n\n\nUnderstanding the basics of faux calligraphy with any pen or marker.\n\n\n\nTransforming simple handwriting into elegant calligraphy.\n\n\n\nPractice exercises to perfect your strokes and letterforms.\n\n\n\n\nWeek 4: Creating a Card with Calligraphy Flourishes\n\n\n\n\nAdding decorative flourishes to enhance calligraphy designs.\n\n\n\nComposing a beautiful card layout.\n\n\n\nCrafting a polished card to celebrate your progress.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\n\n\n\nA basic knowledge of Modern Calligraphy\n\n\n\nMy Modern Calligraphy Starter Pack. You can Purchase a Calligraphy Starter Pack from me here.\n\n\n\nOptional: Pencils, soap stone pencils calligraphy rule, coloured paper and pens (for example: biros or BIC), metallic Coliro paints, thin paint brush, black card, fine marker pens, and decorative materials for added creativity.\n\n\n\nAccess to Zoom and a stable internet connection.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for this creative journey and elevate your calligraphy and crafting skills, one week at a time!\n\n\n\nWe’ll be using Zoom and will send an invitation code once your booking has been accepted. Then on the date, use your computer or tablet to join me by clicking on the link sent to you. Simple 🙂\n\n\n\nOnce you’re online you can watch and learn in the comfort of your home. When the lesson has finished you can playback the class at leisure (I’ll send a link afterwards) and practise further.
